The Breville BES870XL Barista Express is a semi-automatic espresso machine designed to produce café-quality espresso at home.  It features a built-in stainless steel conical burr grinder with approximately 16 grind settings and a ½-lb bean hopper for freshly ground coffee. Its 15-bar Italian pump uses low-pressure pre-infusion before extracting espresso at approximately 9 bars, while the 1600 W Thermocoil heating system with PID temperature control helps maintain a stable brewing temperature.  The manual steam wand creates micro-foam for lattes and cappuccinos, and the removable 67 fl oz (approximately 2 L) water tank makes refilling convenient.  The machine operates on 110–120 V and is rated at 1600 W.
