- Hand wash, rinse and dry - never soak cast iron.
- Season before use by lightly coating the press with vegetable oil, placing face down in a frying pan, and heating over a very low heat for 20 minutes. Wipe off extra oil with a paper towel. Not for use in nonstick pans.
